Sponsored cyclists reach their destination

Our band of intrepid cyclists managed to complete their sponsored cycle journey in Holland yesterday to help the Diana Camidge Foundation fund research into a cure for CJD and GSS

Over 187 miles (300 km) were covered by the eight cyclists who had to deal with strong headwinds for much of the journey.  There were some sore legs, necks, backs and backsides but all arrived safe and happy at the finishing point in Amsterdam at 7pm yesterday Sat 24th June (only 30mins behind schedule).

Thank you to the team and to everyone who donated towards their cause.  Diana Camidge would have been thrilled.

Here is a picture of the team shortly after arriving at Amsterdam yesterday after over 100miles of pedaling in a single day.

The riders (L to R): Jan van den Burg, Michael Foggie, Chris Ramsey, David Booth, Dave Judge, Richard Swan, Andy Walker, James Dunn
Support crew(not pictured): Greg Sehringer, John Camidge, Chris Burdett, Chris Salkeld

There is still time to help the team meet their fundraising target by making a donation on their fundraising page here.  Your help will be very much appreciated.
