Remembering the Animals

Over the next fortnight we will be taking another labyrinth into all our Primary schools (300 children in fact, years 3 and 4) to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War, focusing upon the 16 million animals who served in the war, & the 8 million who died.  Each story from the war is matched by a similar Bible story of courage, sacrifice & friendship.

Please pray for the Team of 20 or so volunteers who will give up to five days of their free time to take the message to the children.

We hope the children will understand the sacrifice made by so many people & animals, and how precious peace is.   Canon Julie
